Bubba and Kat

Following the turn of events that change humanity's fate, the Earth enters into a post-apocalyptic-like war zone. Governments collapse and every attempt to save the planet ends up being futile. When humans flee, they make every effort to neutralize these rogue robots, which fails miserably. These Bots gain full control of the networks and spread corrupt data across the internet, affecting every compatible robot across the planet. Many years pass and humans never get to know that there still exist robots who are on their side. The rogue robots block every attempt made by humans in trying to get more data from the Earth.

The planet is now deserted like a ghost town. Rubble everywhere, civilization almost nonexistent. Kat is trapped under one of the broken slabs of concrete. Struggling to escape, it tries every attempt to free itself. Constantly rebooting and shutting down whenever it is nightfall. A small tiny backup battery inside Kat is solar powered, and a little ray of sunlight keeps Kat in an endless boot loop. Bubba, who is now aging and trying his best to get a message across to the humans, hears a cat-like cry for help. Alerted by this, he spares no attempt in trying to find the source of that sound. The Rogue bots keep monitoring that zone, and he has to fight them off before he can rescue Kat. He eventually succeeds, quickly searching the area and finding a slab of concrete which he manages to move just enough to free Kat. Kat on being freed runs for its life and hides behind a pillar not knowing what has happened. It eventually realizes that Bubba had released him and was indeed rescuing him and not harming him. When Kat peeks from the pillar, it sees Bubba an old aging robot. Cautiously, Kat walks towards Bubba, not knowing what to expect. When both eventually look at each other, they connect and form a unique bond.

Bubba and Kat, although very different types of robots who speak very different languages are able to understand each other. They compliment each other. Kat has the ability to pass through tiny spaces quietly and swiftly. Bubba, on the other hand, being a big robot gets information from Kat, who skillfully and quickly enters every secret gathering place of the rogue robots. This combination helps them take down large groups of robots making their journey much more manageable. They develop a unique way of communication never seen before in artificial intelligence and dedicate themselves to find their human masters...
